Green/Blue/Yellow/Orange Water Marble

This one I think is the best water marble I've done so far. It turned out great, and I was surprised by how well the colors went together.

Here's the supplies I used:

- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Hard as Nails, Mint Sorbet
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Hard as Nails, Mellow Yellow
- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Hard as Nails, Disco Ball
- NYC, Flat Iron Green
- L.A. Girls Disco Brights, Retro
- Clear or top coat
- Bowl of water
- Scotch tape
- Toothpicks
- Q-tips

First, tape all around your nails to protect your skin.

Ready your polishes by unscrewing the lids and just setting them back in the bottle next to your water dish.

Here's how it turned out:

Thirds Manicure

This manicure was so fun to do! And of course I did the same design in different colors on both my hands. Also check out the YouTube tutorial for this video here: Part 1 & Part 2 (coming soon)

Before we get on with the tutorial, one of the blogs I follow, 365 Days of Color, is having a giveaway!

I didn't take photos at each step because I was filming myself doing it, so here are all the pictures I did take:

Holiday Glitter

I know the holidays are kinda over, and I'm back in school, as many of you might be, but I'm still feeling the winter spirit, so here are some glittery nails for you guys! I haven't used either of these polishes before and just felt like doing something simple.

This black polish came in a big kit of makeup with a few polishes that my fiance gave me for my birthday  :) And the sparkly one I bought at Walmart.

Paint all your nails a blue glitter. Feel free to use any color you like. These do look grey in the photo, but the glitter is blue in the bottle.

Next, section off your nails with tape. Wait at least a couple hours before doing this (I did it a few days after wearing this blue) and stick the tape on your palm once or twice before putting it on your nail to get it a bit less sticky. Then paint the bottom section red.

Remove the tape and clean up around your nails.

For an added effect, add a line of glitter between the two.

And you're done! Don't forget a top coat.
