Nude/Gold Gradient

This manicure is my best result of sponging. I'm not that great at it, and I think this design turned out pretty well.

I used an unnamed nude by Muse for the base, then Billie's gold for the sponging and topped it off with Essie's Pure Pearlfection from the Luxeffects collex.

What do you guys think of sponging? I love the look but I need a lot more practice lol

Purple Flakie & Gems

This manicure was really in a few different parts, I wore it one way for a few days, added to it, wore that for a few days, added to it again and wore that for a few days before taking it all off. This first photo is of the end result.

These are the two polishes I used:

The first part was just wearing the matte purple.

Then, I put a coat of Shine of the Times over it.

And applied a matte topcoat to keep the original look of the purple.

That's when I added the jewels, and sealed them on with more matte topcoat.

Summer Fall French

This is by far one of my favorite manicures I've ever done, and I'm already planning on doing it again with a different set of colors, maybe purple/blue and brown/pink or something...

Here's the supplies pics:

So first you paint a diagonal french tip with the medium shade of the colors you chose. You can angle the diagonal the same way on all your nails, or do your other hand the opposite direction like I did.

Add the lightest shade of the colors you're using to a diagonal opposite the first one.

And then put your darkest or contrasting color in the same direction as the medium shade (the first one you did).

Then, I added gold glitter to my thumb and ring fingers of my orange/red hand in an x shape where the two lighter colors meet, and silver on my green/yellow hand.

I hope you guys liked this post, try it out in your favorite colors :)

Snakeskin Nails

This manicure is my first (good) attempt at doing a full nail stamp and I think it turned out pretty decent. My thumbs were too big for the stamps of course, and I ended up putting another piece along the bottom and side of each thumb, so they don't quite line up but it isn't that noticeable.

Here's more pictures:

I just used Colorshock's white and Revlon's Peachy for this manicure with bundle monster plate #208

Striped French Tip

This manicure was a lot of fun and experimentation. Enjoy!

So here's what I used:

-Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear, Cherry Red
-Art Deco striper, black
-Essie, Pure Pearlfection
-base and top coats
-BM plate #217

The first thing I did was stamp on the french tip.

Then I added a fine glitter.

Since my stamping wasn't perfectly lined up, I used a black stripe to disguise this, and it turned out really good if I do say so myself lol

Of course I had to try matte topcoating it...

And then I stuck on this striping tape I just got and haven't tried before. It's really skinny shiny tape in a bunch of different metallic colors I got off eBay.

Here's a closer photo of the stamp (and my camera lens)
