Hey everyone! I have another manicure tutorial for you all. This one was using a set of nail decals I haven't yet tried (in fact I've never used decals before). It was very easy and super cute!
Here's the supplies I used:
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Blue Me Away!
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Wet Cement
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Invisible
- Blue flowery nail decals (I got mine at Dollarama)
First, paint a grey french tip.
Second, paint a triangle of blue over the french tip. This is easier if you roll your finger when you apply the nail polish, instead of moving the brush itself.
Next, add the nail decals. I just did my thumb and an accent finger.
Clean up any nail polish that got on your skin, add a top coat, and you're done!

Rhinestones French Tip
This manicure is very simple, and cute. I had never done anything with rhinestones before, and wanted to try these ones out. The model is my little sister.
Here's the supplies I used:
- Rimmel 60 Seconds, Green with Envy
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Disco Ball
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Invisible
- 8 rhinestones (I used red flower-shaped ones)
First, paint a french tip on all your nails with a turquoise color (I forgot to take a picture for this step). Then, dap some top coat or clear nail polish on the spot where you want the rhinestone and place it there with a toothpick, tweezers or rhinestone picker, whatever works for you.
Then, apply a coat of your favorite sparkle polish over everything.
Finish it off with a top coat or clear nail polish, and you're done!

Sparkle French Tips
This manicure is SO SO easy and so very cute! There is no way for you to mess up this one. Sparkles are awesome that way.
Here's the supplies I used:
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Strobe Light
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Disco Ball
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Invisible
Swipe your first layer of the Strobe Light (pink sparkles) onto your tips. It's super easy to follow the natural white parts of your nail. Then, apply more layers. I did 3 of Strobe Light, 1 of Disco Ball and another Strobe Light one.
Lastly, when the polish is mostly dried, push it down a little, because it can get really thick, and more likely to wipe off later after its dried. Don't worry about this - unlike regular polishes, sparkles don't take the imprint of your fingerprints when you touch them too soon, so press away!
(I had to push the capture button on my camera with my nose for this pic)
Apply a top coat, and you're done! This would also look cute over white or a light pink polish instead of your natural nails.

Pink Sqaures
This nail art design was surprisingly easy, and fun! It's unique, and a good choice for a beginner. I even found doing my right hand (I'm right handed) wasn't that difficult, either.
Here's the supplies I used:
- Acrylic Paint (Cherry Blossom Pink)
- Acrylic Paint (Light Antique White
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Invisible
The first step is to paint all your nails white. (In this picture I forgot I didn't take a picture of my nails before I started the design, so I just showed the ones that were still plain white).
Then, draw your first line. Which line to start with is up to you, this is just the way I did it.
Then, the next line.
The last two lines will make a square shape in the middle of the nail.
Lastly, fill it in with the pink.
After adding a top coat or clear nail polish, you're done!

Rose Garden
This manicure is perfect for summertime, and beautiful. It isn't for beginners, and even I had trouble with the picket fencing, but for more experienced nail artists, enjoy!
Here's the supplies I used:
- Acrylic Paint (Bright Red)
- Acrylic Paint (Light Antique White
- Acrylic Paint (Cherry Blossom Pink)
- Acrylic Paint (Christmas Green)
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Invisible
First, paint all your nails green except the ring fingers.
Then, with a skinny paint brush or toothpick, paint in the picket fencing. Much harder than it looks, sorry guys! I did the vertical posts first, and once they were dry, the horizontal ones. But do whatever works for you.
Then, paint your ring fingers white.
And finally, paint in the rose. You just need a glob of pink paint, and some curved red lines where the petals might be. A coat of top coat or clear nail polish, and you're done!
