As some of you might know, I got married recently (May 19th) and here is the manicure I did for my wedding day! I've been so busy that I couldn't get this written & posted til today lol
Here's the polish I used:
-Billie, Mauve (a matte purple)
-Essie Luxeffects Topcoat, Pure Pearlfection
-white butterfly nail art sticker
I won't explain any steps because it's kinda straightforward. I know it's very simple, but I like simple statements. And for the biggest day of my life, I wanted something I knew would look good, I wasn't about to experiment with some lace design or whatever the night before (yes I didn't do my nails til the night before!). Here's some more pictures:
My wedding colors were purple, white and brown :) Tell me in the comments what you might wear on your nails for your big day!

Pink and Orange Water Marble
This water marble is wonderfully subtle and beautiful. I know I didn't take the greatest of photos, but you can see the orange in the pink closer up. And it was way more noticeable in real life.
Here are a couple of closer shots:
Sorry for the short post, I wish I'd taken more photos. The polishes I used were Peachy by Revlon, Pink Creme by Sinful Colors (which isn't a creme at all; the glitter is obvious).

2 New YouTube Videos Up!
I haven't done posts on this blog for my 2 recent video tutorials I posted on YouTube, so that's what this post will be about.
The first is a green manicure with vertical cut between two colors. You can watch this Green Split manicure video on my YouTube channel, artistrynails.
The second video is a sponging tutorial with a stamp over top. You can watch this White and Green Sponge Gradient with Dots video on my YouTube channel as well.
I hope you guys enjoy!

Neon Abstract
I got so many compliments on this manicure, and when I told those who asked that it was acrylic paint, they were stunned. And I've got to say I'm pretty proud of this design, myself.
My supplies:
I don't have step-by-step photos for this, but here's what it looks like before the black stripes and white dots were put on:

Grey with Stripes
So I saw this package of skinny, colored tape on eBay for very cheap and decided to try it. It's called striping tape in the nail art world, and you just stick it on like normal tape!
I have a coat of Wet Cement by Sally Hansen on under the tape.
This is the order I put the tape on
Here's a closer photo of the tape itself:
The only thing about this tape is it doesn't stay on for long, after a few hours even under the best top coat, the ends will start peeling up. I also noticed just with the light blue tape, that it fades in color to silver so after a while it looked like I only used dark blue and silver, instead of all three colors. Maybe that's just the light blue tape I got...
