Starry Lotus

This manicure I did on a set of fake nails, because I wanted to show a design for nails longer than my own. It was pretty simple to do, and very pretty.

Here's the supplies I used:

- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Strobe Light
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Disco Ball
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Virtual Violet
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Black Off
- Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear, Invisible
- Rimmel 60 seconds, Night Before
- Rimmel French Manicure, Soft Violet
- small paintbrush

The first step is to paint all your nails with the Rimmel French Manicure polish.

Next, make a dark purple french tip (Rimmel's Night Before), longer by a couple millimeters than you'd like it.

Now, take the lighter purple (Sally Hansen's Virtual Violet) and paint a shorter french tip over the black.

One coat of sparkle polish (Sally Hansen's Disco Ball).

Paint the lotus flowers with black polish. You can do them in the same area on each nail, or on different areas like I've done here.

Taking a paintbrush or thin nail art brush, take a sparkle polish (Sally Hansen's Strobe Light) and outline the lotus petals.

Add a top coat (Sally Hansen's Invisible), and you're done!
